Contract Manager (FIDIC) Data Centre Construction Sines, Portugal

ROA Talent is supporting a leading international contractor in the search for a Contract Manager with strong FIDIC experience to join a major data centre construction project in Sines, Portugal.

This is a key commercial and contractual role on a high-profile mission critical construction scheme, suited to someone who is confident managing risk, protecting project position, and supporting delivery teams through complex contract matters on site.

You'll work closely with project leadership, commercial teams, and client-facing stakeholders to manage contractual exposure across the lifecycle of the build.

What the role will involve

• Managing contract administration under FIDIC
• Identifying, assessing, and mitigating commercial and contractual risk
• Supporting notices, change management, claims strategy, and entitlement
• Advising project teams on contractual obligations and risk position
• Reviewing subcontract and main contract issues across project delivery
• Working closely with commercial and operational teams on a live hyperscale / mission critical construction environment
• Helping maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships while protecting commercial outcomes

What they're looking for

• Proven experience as a Contract Manager on major construction or infrastructure projects
• Strong working knowledge of FIDIC contracts
• Experience managing contractual risk on complex builds
• Background in Data Centre, Mission Critical, Industrial, Pharma, or large-scale infrastructure construction
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with project delivery teams
• Comfortable in a fast-paced international project environment
