Contract Manager

Salary: £45,000

Location: Central London (with regular travel across London - flexible on base location)

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 40 hours per week (flexible start and finish times available)

A reputable provider of landscaping and grounds maintenance services is seeking a Contract Manager to oversee high-profile contracts across London. This key role involves managing day-to-day operations, ensuring service delivery standards, building strong client relationships, leading teams effectively, maintaining health and safety compliance, and driving financial performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the daily operations of the contract(s), ensuring delivery of services, contract compliance, staff performance, safety, and financial targets.
  • Act as the main point of contact for client representatives, maintaining strong professional relationships and identifying opportunities for service improvements and additional works.
  • Manage and develop staff, including planning schedules, supporting performance and development, recruitment, and maintaining HR best practices.
  • Work closely with senior management to ensure contracts meet financial goals, monitoring budgets, tracking expenditures, and assisting with monthly reporting.
  • Promote and enforce health and safety protocols, including producing and reviewing risk assessments and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing grounds maintenance contracts, ideally with exposure to public realm or park environments.
  • Strong IT proficiency, particularly in reporting and financial tracking.
  • Basic understanding of financial performance within service contracts.
  • Full UK driving licence (clean).
