Overview

This major technology focused, pan European, Financial Services organisation is looking to migrate their data centres into a managed service provision. The role involves significant exposure to data at scale within a sizeable business structure and supporting the project team to deliver the migration into managed service.

Responsibilities

• Support the project team to deliver the migration into managed service.
• Act as Technical SME on Linux and execute project activities, including configuration and testing of Linux OS on the VMs created as part of Apps Migration and other activities as required.

Technical makeup

Linux migration with knowledge of SAN storage connectivity for databases.

Work arrangement

The role is hybrid in nature until the first weeks; after that, 75% plus remote work is highly probable following initial meetings with the key team and view of the current data centre.
