Job Description

This is a 6-month contract based in London, paying £550-£600 per day (inside IR35), and focused on hands-on contract and relationship management rather than sourcing or procurement.

The assignment at a glance

  • Title: Contract Lead
  • Location: London (team based in London)
  • Rate: £500-600 per day (inside IR35, no flex on rate)
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Sector: Public Sector - Procurement / Contract & Supply Management
  • Security Clearance: CTC (or willingness/eligibility to obtain)

Key responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of the single supplier framework.
  • Operational management of the relationship, including task order contracts and performance management.
  • Capturing, reviewing and reporting KPIs, ensuring timely receipt and robust challenge where needed.
  • Monitoring and checking spend against agreed parameters.
  • Holding the supplier to account contractually, in line with NEC4 provisions and best practice.

What our client is looking for

  • Extensive hands-on contract management experience - this must be operational contract management, not purely sourcing or commercial negotiation.
  • Proven experience in relationship management with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong practical understanding of NEC4 contracting.
  • Confidence in managing KPIs, spend tracking and performance reporting.
  • Background in Public Sector or large capital/estate projects is highly advantageous.
