Contract Law & Compliance Associate - Draft & Review

We are a dynamic organization seeking a legal professional to enhance our operational efficiency and compliance by managing contract law and supporting various legal functions. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in aligning legal processes with strategic business goals.

We are looking for a legal associate who has a strong understanding of contract law and can assess the legal implications of various contractual clauses. The role involves providing comprehensive support in drafting, reviewing, and analyzing legal documents and ensuring business activities are legally compliant.

• Ensure swift understanding and analysis of legal content

• Draft, review, and manage supply and service contracts

• Identify and mitigate legal risks within contracts

• Prepare detailed reports related to mining laws

• Assist the Head of Department with legal research and related tasks

• Draft NDAs, MOUs, and vendor/supplier agreements

• Summarize and present case notes to Directors within short timelines

• Interpret and assess the legal impact of government regulations and circulars

• Monitor updates in key legislations, amendments, and draft bills

• Lead the digitization and organization of legal records and databases

• Support the Head - Legal with additional assignments as required

• LLB or LLM with minimum 2 years of practice

• At least 4 years of professional legal experience

• Proficiency in Kannada (reading and writing)

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Sound knowledge of contract law

• Prior experience in contract management

• Excellent communication and drafting abilities

• Quick comprehension and analytical thinking

• Competence in identifying and evaluating legal risks
