Contract Instructional Designer

We are seeking a highly experienced Instructional Designer to join a long-term, high-demand project for a leading client in the Finance and Customs sector. You will work directly with the client, integrating into their systems and workflows, with full access to tools and a dedicated email account. This role requires prioritisation of the project and consistent, real-time communication with the client. It is ideal for an instructional design professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, is confident storyboarding directly in Articulate Storyline, and is looking for a steady stream of work over the coming years.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate daily with the client and internal teams (CET/CEST time zone).
• Remain available and responsive during business hours to ensure fluid communication and timely feedback loops.
• Work simultaneously on up to 3 learning modules.
• Create high-quality instructional storyboards directly in Articulate Storyline, in close collaboration with developers.
• Apply adult learning principles to design scenario-based and interactive eLearning for banking and financial services.
• Participate in review cycles and adapt content quickly based on stakeholder feedback.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in instructional design, including recent experience with Articulate Storyline and Rise.
• Proven ability to manage concurrent module development and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong understanding of eLearning design standards, SCORM, and accessibility principles.
• Experience in the taxation, customs, banking or financial services sector.
• Available full-time during CET/CEST business hours and highly responsive to client communications.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Synthesia and other media creation tools
• Graphic design background or understanding of visual storytelling principles.

This is a remote, contract-based opportunity with immediate onboarding and long-term engagement potential.
