• Pay Range: Up to £450.00 p/h, rotating shifts (Days or Nights)
• Contract Duration: 3 months ongoing
• Working Pattern: 12-hour shifts

About the Role

We are recruiting for a fast-paced, multi-site manufacturer in the FMCG sector with a 100-year history. We seek an electrical-biased or competent contract shift engineer for ad-hoc shift cover, including days and nights. The ideal candidate will excel in a proactive, front-line maintenance role with a focus on electrical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, adjust, and repair process and production machinery and equipment safely and effectively.
• Inspect machinery and report on condition, performance, and improvement plans.
• Perform planned and preventative maintenance according to schedules.
• Collaborate with a team to maintain site operations to World Class Standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent in manufacturing.
• Alternative qualifications in electrical or mechanical fields, preferably with manufacturing experience.
• Proven electrical engineering expertise with problem-solving skills.
• PLC/automation experience and ability to produce safe systems of work are desirable.
• Hands-on electrical maintenance experience, including conveyors and end-of-line processing.
• Experience organizing planned maintenance tasks and managing engineering plant operations.
