Job Title: Contract Electrical Engineer - Day-shifts

Location: North Yorks, commutable from A1 Wetherby, Leeds, Harrogate, etc.

Pay Range: £36 - £40 p/h Day-shift working

Contract Type: 3-month ongoing contract

Working Patterns: Day-shifts - NO NIGHTS

We are recruiting for a fast-paced multi-site manufacturer in FMCG manufacturing, a world-leading business with a 100-year history.

We are seeking an electrical-biased/competent contract shift engineer, considering temp-to-perm opportunities.

We are looking for a talented and qualified individual who is a great problem solver with continuous improvement ideas, thriving in a proactive electrical front-line maintenance role.

Key Responsibilities - Contract Electrical Engineer - Day-shifts

• Service, adjust, and repair process and production machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe and proper manner.
• Examine machinery and equipment, report on condition and performance, and plan improvements.
• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance according to schedules.
• Work as part of a team to keep the site running to world-class standards.

Qualifications & Requirements - Contract Electrical Engineer - Day-shifts

• Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical Engineering or similar manufacturing qualification.
• Or equivalent in electrical or mechanical fields, preferably with manufacturing experience.
• A competent electrical engineering professional with technical experience, problem-solving skills, PLC/automation experience, and the ability to produce safe systems of work.
• Capable of contributing to the development, manufacture, commissioning, decommissioning, operation, or maintenance of products, equipment, processes, or services.
• This is an all-round hands-on maintenance electrical role, including conveyors and end-of-line packing processes.
• Extensive planned maintenance tasks and organization of the engineering plant are essential.
