As we continue to grow, we are seeking experienced and commercially minded Contract Directors to lead the delivery of our full range of Soft FM services across hospital sites.

This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for ensuring operational excellence across cleaning, catering, portering, and retail services-while driving commercial performance, enhancing patient and visitor experiences, and building trusted partnerships with NHS teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commercial Management: Lead financial performance across Soft FM and retail operations, overseeing budgets, forecasting, and cost control while maximising revenue opportunities.
  • Contract Management: Ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and NHS standards across all services, driving consistent quality and value.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day service delivery, embedding high standards in safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong, collaborative relationships with NHS partners, service providers, and suppliers.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate operational and financial risks, ensuring safe and secure environments for patients, staff, and visitors.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven senior leadership experience in Soft FM contract management, ideally in healthcare.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with a record of driving efficiency and revenue growth.
  • Skilled in contract management, with experience overseeing large-scale service delivery.
  • A people-focused leader with excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Committed to delivering outstanding customer service in complex and high-pressure environments.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
