We have a great opportunity for an experienced Continuous Improvement Project Manager to join us and take accountability for the change management for process improvement and driving continuous improvement methodology.

Main Responsibilities

  • To use Value Stream Mapping techniques to identify waste and implement future state improvement plans.
  • To use SMED methodology to improve internal / external activity ratio to reduce changeover times.
  • To support 5s activities through workshops and Kaizen events.
  • To drive the employee Kaizen improvement system to help drive a positive inclusive culture of improvement.
  • To apply (and train employees) Root Cause Analysis to improve customer quality (internal & external).
  • Work closely with supply chain team & kitting to improve OTIF, RFT & Kanban possibilities.
  • Carry out regular process time study analysis to support line balancing & achieve Takt Time.
  • To analyse company processes and procedures to drive improvement strategies.
  • To support the company with shop floor data collection systems and maintenance of the process.
  • To run Kaizen workshops to support business improvement initiatives.

Education / Qualifications:

  • Qualified to Level 4 or higher in a Business Improvement framework.
  • Qualified to Level 4 or higher in Leadership.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Experience in change management.
  • Able to run Kaizen workshops / training.
  • Shopfloor data management systems.
  • Six sigma green belt level.

Competencies:

  • Value Stream Mapping: current and future state experience
  • SMED.
  • 5 years + in CI role within manufacturing environment.
  • Have excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively with all key stakeholders.
  • Have excellent project management abilities
  • Have a creative approach for generating new ideas
  • Be flexible and adaptable
  • Be methodical in their approach to tasks set
  • Be able to question and reason
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Talent Developer

Other:

  • SC cleared or ability to obtain
  • Ability to travel
