Continuous Improvement Engineer

G2 are currently looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our client's manufacturing site for a 6-12 month freelance engagement.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving process optimisation, enhancing operational efficiency, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the facility. The location is within the Europort region, Port of Rotterdam, Netherlands.
LOCATION: Netherlands, Rotterdam, Port of Rotterdam
DURATION: 6-12 Month Rolling
START: ASAP
RATES: Market Rates
Qualifications
- Education: Hands on practical experience (operator, maintenance engineer etc ) or degree qualified engineer (mechanical, process, chemical, industrial etc )
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in continuous improvement roles within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in Lean tools and methodologies, data analysis, and process mapping. Strong communication and interpersonal
- Languages: Fluency in English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus.
The client is looking for someone who has an understanding of the shop floor and production, also considering how best to implement the continuous improvement strategy which has already will been written. The client is an end client operator, they are interested ideally in anyone with operator experience, this could be in the chemical, petrochemical, manufacturing or FMCG industries.
The client has advised they are looking for someone to start ASAP and we have several interview slots available next week. The can start the successful candidate in June.
