A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Contentious Probate Solicitor to join a highly regarded and nationally recognised Private Client Dispute Resolution team in Birmingham.

This is no ordinary private client role. You will be joining a Chambers and Legal 500 ranked team with an excellent reputation for handling complex, high-value disputes for high-net-worth individuals, families, executors and trustees.

With an impressive pipeline of quality work and an established national presence, this is an opportunity to build your profile within a leading practice and work alongside some of the most experienced specialists in the market.

THE ROLE:

You will handle a varied and interesting caseload of contentious private client matters, including:

Inheritance Act claims.

Will validity challenges.

Trust and estate disputes.

Contentious estate administration.

Court of Protection-related disputes.

Complex, high-value private client litigation.

You will be encouraged to develop client relationships, contribute to business development and play an active role in the continued growth of the team.

THE CANDIDATE:

Applications are welcomed from Associate and Senior Associate Solicitors with experience in contentious probate, trust and estate disputes.

You will need to demonstrate:

Strong technical expertise in contentious private client matters.

Experience managing your own caseload of complex disputes.

Excellent client care and communication skills.

Strong commercial awareness and an interest in business development.

The ambition to develop your career within a leading national practice.

Experience advising high-net-worth clients, ACTAPS membership or involvement with STEP or ConTra would be advantageous.
