Contentious Probate Solicitor (NQ-4 PQE), Cardiff, £Competitive + Excellent Benefits - An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Contentious Probate Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a nationally recognised team with an outstanding reputation for handling high-quality private client disputes. This is an excellent role for an ambitious lawyer looking to develop their expertise within a supportive and collaborative environment. REF: 4576

THE ROLE:

Joining a thriving and well-established Contentious Probate team, you will advise on a broad range of disputes involving wills, trusts and estates. Your caseload will include Inheritance Act claims, challenges to the validity of wills, disputes concerning the administration of estates, breaches of trust and applications relating to the removal of executors and trustees. Working alongside experienced practitioners, you will manage your own matters while benefiting from exposure to complex and high-value disputes, including those involving high-net-worth individuals. You will also be encouraged to take an active role in business development and contribute to the continued success of the team.

THE CANDIDATE:

Applications are welcomed from Solicitors and Chartered Legal Executives with up to four years' PQE and experience in contentious probate matters, including candidates who have gained this experience during their training contract. You will possess strong technical and drafting skills, be confident managing your own caseload and demonstrate excellent client care. Commercial awareness, a proactive approach and the ability to build strong relationships with both clients and colleagues will be key to your success. You will also have a genuine desire to continue developing your expertise and progress your career within a leading specialist team.
