This is a hands on role where you'll manage cases end to end, work with operational data, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support robust, consistent decision making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing a caseload of litigated consumer claims from initial receipt through to settlement or final hearing.
  • Processing claims for compensation and refunds in line with easyJet's Terms and Conditions, EU261 legislation, and the Montreal Convention.
  • Drafting legal documents including defences, witness statements, and trial preparation materials.
  • Liaising with internal and external legal representatives across multiple jurisdictions to coordinate cases, settlements, and judgments.
  • Accessing and analysing aviation operational systems to support legal defences and out of court settlements.
  • Working closely with operational teams to secure and preserve evidence related to disruption management decisions.
  • Supporting the Disputes team and advising customer service on EU261 and wider consumer law queries, including those from regulators and enforcement bodies.
  • Maintaining accurate and up to date databases, systems, and reports related to flight disruptions and claims.
  • Ensuring timely payment of claims and accurate recording of all related data.
  • Maintaining precedent and evidence databases to support ongoing and future disputes.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum of one year experience as a paralegal, preferably within a regulated or fast paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of EU261 legislation and consumer law, or the ability to quickly build this expertise.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and court deadlines.
  • Confidence communicating clearly and professionally with internal teams, legal representatives, and external partners.
  • A proactive, detail focused approach with the resilience to thrive in a high volume operational setting.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to build positive working relationships across the business.
Benefits
  • Up to 20% maximum bonus
  • 5% pension contributions
  • Medical Cash Plan
  • Excellent staff travel benefits
  • 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Annual credit towards an easyJet holiday
  • Various flexible benefits and extras
