Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated PLM Project Manager to join the Digital Continuity & Manufacturing team within our client: Capgemini Engineering.


This position is based in Madrid or Valladolid.


In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining PLM architecture strategies aligned with business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain PLM architecture strategies.
  • Design and implement PLM solutions using leading industry platforms such as Dassault Systèmes (3DExperience is a must), and others like Siemens Teamcenter, and PTC Windchill (desirable).
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' existing PLM environments and propose improvement strategies.
  • Create detailed technical specifications, system designs, and integration plans for PLM implementations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to ensure successful PLM implementations.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Stay up to date with emerging PLM technologies and industry best practices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key PLM vendors and partners.
  • Contribute to pre-sales activities, including proposal development and client presentations.
  • Ensure that PLM solutions comply with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.


What do you need to be the ideal candidate for this role?

  • University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in PLM (3DExperience is a must) implementation and architecture.
  • Strong experience with at least PLM 3DExperience platform (Dassault Systèmes), Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill are desirable.
  • Deep understanding of product development processes across various industries.
  • Experience in integrating PLM systems (3DExperience) with ERP, CAD, and other enterprise applications.
  • Proficiency in data migration, system customization, and performance optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in Spanish and English.
  • Relevant PLM certifications (e.g., CPLM, CSCA) are a plus.
