Your role and responsibilities

As a Graduate Consultant at IBM, you will embark on an exciting career journey as you build strong technical, sales, solutioning and project delivery skills, within a consulting business. You will become familiar with IBM's organisation and ow we work with clients to address their most complex business and technology challenges.

Collaboration with leading experts from across IBM and our partner ecosystem provides hands on exposure to real project challenges and best practice sales, solution design and delivery. In this environment you will develop a clear understanding of how technologies including AI, automation, security, cloud, business application and data analytics solutions are delivered, and how they create measurable business value.

Working in our Global Services Integration Hub (SIH) in Dublin, you will deepen your understanding of how modern technologies are architected, delivered and scaled across our global organisation. You will gain experience across industries, applications, enterprise platforms and solution domains, preparing you for future roles in business/technical solution design and delivery, project management and leadership, and establishing a strong foundation for long term career growth.

The role provides a clear pathway for career progression. Typical progression routes include Business Analyst, Generative AI Specialist, Project Manager, IT Architect, Technology Specialist and Security Specialist, Sales and Strategy.

• Be on track for, or have achieved, a 2:1 grade in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics focused discipline. Graduates from other fields are welcome with a demonstrated interest in technology and AI
• Think logically and analytically, approach problems with structure and curiosity.
• Communicate clearly and confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Be motivated to understand how modern technology-including AI-solves real business challenges.
• Work effectively and proactively in teams, demonstrate a positive attitude, and thrive in collaborative environments.
• Have some experience in programming, data tools or an understanding of basic IT concepts.
• Demonstrate awareness of cybersecurity principles and good technology practices.
• Available to commence full-time employment with expected start dates in September, October or November.
