About us

Sinclair-Strong Consultants Ltd (SSC) Headquarters are based in Kings Hill near West Malling, Kent, and offer on-site parking as well as transport links to London. In-person clinics are available in Canterbury and other accessible locations across Kent. With experience developed over several decades, SSC provides a range of services for adults, including assessment and support for Autism and Intellectual Disability. The service has recently expanded to provide ADHD diagnostic assessment and treatment. Our service accepts NHS Right to Choose referrals.

Job responsibilities

Reporting to Medical Director of SSC Ltd. You will take the post of General Adult and/or Forensic Psychiatrist. Desirable post holder to have relevant accreditation in Intellectual Disability required for ADHD Diagnostic Assessment & pharmacological treatment for ADHD. Working with low to high complex needs (comorbid) conditions patients in community or virtual settings. Must hold GMC registration to practice / psychiatric specialty with experience / evidence of working in ADHD assessment & treatment services.

Person Specification Qualifications

• Evidence of GMC registration and licence to practice
• On the GMC specialist register for psychiatric speciality
• Eligible to work in the UK
• CCT in General Adult psychiatry/Intellectual Disability/Forensic psychiatry
• Enhanced DBS certification
• Experience in in-person and virtual ADHD assessments and treatment
