We are delighted to recruit to a Consultant Grade Psychiatrist as part of the General Adult Sandwell Team at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. Applications are invited for a full-time Consultant Psychiatrist position in West Bromwich. This vacancy has arisen as a result of service development.

Main duties of the job

The post is for a General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist working at Hallam Street Hospital, West Bromwich. The post holder will lead the General Adult mental health team services by working closely with the service manager and a multidisciplinary team comprising nurses, a specialty doctor, and psychologists. The post holder will join the peer group of Consultants providing comprehensive mental health services as part of Community Mental Health Teams in each locality. We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled clinician who will lead the MDT and take a keen interest in teaching, training, and service development. The post is full-time with a 10 PA Job Plan.

Salary: £105,504 to £139,882 per year, plus 3% of salary for on-call duties.
