Full time, 10 Programmed Activities per week, plus 2 additional PAs subject to annual job plan review for flexibility and acuity.
(Part-time may be considered)
The successful Consultant will be part of the out-of-hours on-call consultant rota (1 in 15 frequency) and paid a 3% on-call supplement.
South West Yorkshire Partnership Foundation Trust is recruiting a Consultant Psychiatrist to join the Stanley inpatient psychiatry ward based at Fieldhead Hospital, Ouchthorpe Lane, Wakefield WF1 3SP. This role is vital in ensuring our patients receive the care they need and will be an integral part of the Wakefield Acute Care pathway. Stanley ward is a 22-bed adult male psychiatry ward at the Unity Centre, Fieldhead Hospital, Wakefield.

Person Specification Experience- Excellent knowledge in the specialty.

- Full GMC registration and license to practice or eligibility.
- On the GMC Specialist Register for General Psychiatry or within six months of CCT.
- Approved clinician status or ability to achieve within three months.
- Approved under S12 or ability to achieve within three months.
- Good standing with GMC regarding warnings or conditions.
- Professional appearance.
This role requires a Disclosure and Barring Service check due to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
