Consultant Plastic Surgeon

We are recruiting for a Consultant Plastic Surgeon, to work from our Harley Street clinic to perform a wide range of cosmetic surgical procedures aimed at enhancing or restoring physical appearance. The role involves patient consultations, surgical planning, operative procedures, and post-operative care. The surgeon will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of patient safety, satisfaction, and clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Duties:
  • Perform cosmetic procedures such as:
  • • Breast augmentation/reduction/lift
    • Rhinoplasty
    • Liposuction
    • Abdominoplasty (tummy tuck)
    • Facelift and neck lift
    • Blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery)
    • Body contouring
  • Conduct thorough pre-operative consultations and assessments.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical best practices.
  • Provide post-operative care and follow-up to monitor recovery and outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
• Professional Development & Governance:
  • Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Stay updated with advancements in cosmetic surgery techniques and technologies.
  • Adhere to GMC guidelines and clinical governance standards.
  • Engage in continuing professional development (CPD) and training.
• Team Collaboration:
  • Work alongside anaesthetists, nurses, and administrative staff.
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
  • Support junior staff and trainees where applicable.

Qualifications & Experience

• Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
• Completion of FRCS (Plast) or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in cosmetic surgical procedures.
• Proven track record of patient safety and satisfaction.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
