Temporary Consultant Physician in Geriatric Medicine, Donegal.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Physician in Geriatric Medicine to provide specialist clinical leadership for older persons' services across Donegal, with a primary focus on the local community hospital and strong links with Letterkenny University Hospital.

The post will support integrated, person-centred care across community and acute services, helping older people to access the right care, in the right place, at the right time.

Candidate requirements:

• Registration as a specialist in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland in Geriatric Medicine and General Internal Medicine.
• Evidence of clinical expertise, leadership, governance, communication, multidisciplinary working, service improvement, teaching, audit and research.
• Access to appropriate transport to fulfil the requirements of the role.
• Excellent communication skills
