Consultant Paediatrician, Community Paediatrics - St John's Hospital

Responsibilities

The post holder will join an established and experienced team of paediatricians. The Community Paediatrics service is a Lothian-wide service and the person appointed will be required to work at other sites. Applicants wishing to work less than full time will also be considered.

Qualifications and requirements

• Full GMC Registration and a license to practice, eligible for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register.
• For those trained in the UK, evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or within 6 months of confirmed entry from the date of interview.
• Portfolio Pathway (formerly CESR) route doctors are eligible to apply for a substantive consultant post only once it has been awarded.
• Non-UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training.
