Consultant Obstetric Physician

This is an exciting opportunity for a physician to work alongside the obstetric and midwifery leads for the Wessex Maternal Medicine Network (WMMN).

Your main duty will be to coordinate and support care for women and birthing people across the region with medical conditions diagnosed before, during, and after pregnancy, providing medical expertise to improve clinical outcomes.

Alongside the clinical leads, you will collaborate with the project team to develop network-based activities. The obstetric physician role is well established within the region; this is a replacement post following retirement. The position is advertised as permanent; however, consideration will be given to a locum (fixed-term) appointment if all requirements are not met.
