Consultant Neurophysiologist

One Healthis looking for a Neurophysiologist support and grow the Neurophysiology team in the Leicestershire and Lincolnshire areas.

The successful candidate will have experience working within a similar role in a private or NHS setting. You should have a professional outlook, empathetic telephone manner and understand the importance of patient confidentiality. The Candidate should be able to undertake all Neurophysiology requirements including EMG's and NCS's as well as complex spinal cases.

• Youshould currently be in a substantive NHS post OR in a long-term locum post(more than 12 months)
• Ifnot in current NHS post, should have been a substantive NHS consultant for atleast 3 years before leaving the NHS
• OnGMC register and have no hearings or restrictions (or equivalent)
• Shouldhave relevant sub specialist qualifications ( for example FRCS orth inOrthopaedics)

Main duties of the job

This rolewill involve assessing and undertaking investigations for NHS patients referred to One Health,via the NHS e-Referral System. Appointments will be held across a number ofoutreach clinic sites, with a specific focus on Lincolnshire and Leicestershire.

Job responsibilities

OneHealth is looking for an Experienced Neurophysiologist to support and grow the One Health Neurophysiology team. The role will involve assessing and undertaking investigations for NHS patients referred to One Health via the NHS e-Referral System. Allconsultants who work with One Health will be subject to our onboarding process andapproval from our Clinical Governance Lead. Practicing Privileges will berequired to be obtained for each hospital where procedures are undertaken.

Thework will be undertaken across Lincolnshire and Leicestershire, the Consultant musttherefore be prepared to travel.
