What You'll Do

We are looking for experienced professionals (4+ years of industry or consulting experience) to join our Amsterdam team at consultant level . We welcome candidates from a wide range of academic and professional backgrounds.

You don't need to have started your career in consulting to succeed at BCG - many of our consultants bring valuable experience from industry or research and go on to become thought leaders in their fields.

As a Consultant at BCG Amsterdam, you'll harness your expertise to drive projects, mentor colleagues, and shape strategic decisions. Your analytical foresight, creativity, and leadership will be pivotal in crafting innovative solutions and guiding clients through transformational change-ensuring project results go above and beyond expectations. You'll serve as a core member of BCG's consulting team , collaborating with some of the world's top minds in strategy and management consulting. You'll advise clients at executive level across industries and topics, helping them improve performance, transform their businesses, and achieve excellence.

You will:

• Lead workstreams and manage complex project modules, ensuring high-quality outcomes.

• Conduct sophisticated analyses to generate actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

• Communicate findings clearly and persuasively, influencing key stakeholders.

• Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their development.

• Contribute to thought leadership and the advancement of BCG's capabilities.

What You'll Bring

• A master's degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience (in consulting or industry).

• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.

• Proven ability in critical thinking and solution creation, translating insights into actionable strategies.

• Agility to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively across diverse teams.

• Strong communication skills, articulating strategies and insights with clarity and impact to global clients.

• Demonstrated leadership in diverse group settings and adaptability to evolving project landscapes.

At BCG, we aim to attract the best talent and provide an exceptional interview experience for every candidate. For a consultant position at BCG Amsterdam, you can apply any time of the year. We are committed t working closely with you to establish an interview process that best suits your needs.

There are five steps in the application process. Please read the following instructions carefully and make sure you submit the correct documents on time. The interviews take place in a hybrid format. Which means you have both virtual and interviews face to face at the Amsterdam office.

Step 1: Online Application

For a complete application please provide the following documents:

• Resume

• High school transcripts

• Bachelor , Master certificates and lists of University grades .

• Cover letter (optional): It is not required to explain your motivation. If you wish to do so, you can use this cover letter to provide additional explanation about your profile and the provided documents.

Step 2: Online Assessment Environment

• The reasoning test is a virtual reasoning test in which you interpret graphs, draw quantitative conclusions based on available information and make calculations.

Step 3: First Round Interviews

The first round consists of two interviews:

• Two case interviews (60 min)

Step 4: Final Round Interviews

The final round consists of four interviews:

• A personality-based interview with a recruiter (45 min)

• Two case interviews (60 min)

• A written case (2,5h)

Step 5: Offer

Following this second round of interviews, we may decide to extend you an offer.
