Consultant in Emergency Medicine - NW England

Triple West Medical is currently seeking an experienced Consultant in Emergency Medicine for a substantive role, but may also consider a FTC Locum Consultant for a minimum of 12 months.

The Trust employs over 6,000 staff and offers a comprehensive range of acute and community services across multiple sites. The successful candidate will possess excellent clinical skills and the ability to lead on the shop floor. Active involvement in the teaching and supervision of all multidisciplinary staff is expected.

The Emergency Department at the main site currently manages over 44,000 attendances annually and has a fully accredited Trauma Unit. The second site handles around 35,000 attendances per year.

The post holder must have:

• Completed Higher Specialist Training in Emergency Medicine or evidence of equivalent competency
• Entry on the GMC Specialist Register via one of the following: CCT (proposed CCT date within 6 months of interview) or CESR
• Full GMC Registration
• Provider status at ALS, ATLS, and either PALS or APLS
• High level of clinical experience and competence in Emergency Medicine

Our client is willing to issue Certificates of Sponsorship to suitably qualified overseas doctors. GMC registration and relevant experience are essential for this position.
