Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist

Requirements

• Must hold GMC Licence to Practice
• Right to work in the UK
• Previous prison experience highly desirable but Forensic experience is essential
• AC Status and Section 12 Approval (Essential)
• Must have prison clearance

Pertemps Medical are seeking to appoint a Locum Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist to support our client based in the East Midlands. This is a prison based role that will require annual leave cover as needed across 3 other prison sites. The postholder will deliver high-quality trauma informed specialist patient care, provide medical leadership within the integrated mental health team.

Hours: 30 hours per week (Mon-Thu)

Compliance requirements

• DBS/PVG check
• Occupational Health Clearance (proof of immunity to Hep B, Measles and Rubella)
• Right to work - Passport/Visa
• Mandatory Training including PMVA/Breakaway
• ILS
• Qualification Certificates
