Consultant Cardiothoracic Radiologist - Midlands

National Locums is working on behalf of an NHS trust based in the Midlands, seeking a locum Consultant in Cardiothoracic Radiology.

The Radiology department within this NHS trust is looking to enhance its team of 19 WTE Consultant Body Radiologists, within a total department of 48 WTE Consultant Radiologists. The current team includes 4 other Consultants with interests in Cardiothoracic imaging, along with Advanced Practitioner Chest Reporting Radiographers and Consultant Radiographers.

The role is for 5 days a week, initially for 3 months, with core working hours from 09:00 to 17:00.

The job plan includes:

• Thoracic reporting
• Thoracic intervention
• HRCT reporting
• Lung and ILD MDT
• Acute CT reporting
• CME
• On-calls

There is scope to engage in additional subspecialty interests such as lymphoma (haematology) imaging and MDT, and skin imaging and MDT.

Candidates must hold:

• GMC license to practice
• Full right to work in the UK
• NHS experience in Cardiothoracic Radiology
