Consultant Cardiologist with expertise in EP and CDI

The Consultant Cardiologist with expertise in EP and CDI role centres on participationing in the on-call rota for non-interventional cardiology (currently 1 in 10 covering both campuses).

Weekend on-call is 48 hours from Saturday 9am until Monday 9am also on a 1:10 basis.

What you'll be doing

• Participation in the on-call rota for non-interventional cardiology (currently 1 in 10 covering both campuses)

What matters for this role

• You'll need experience of VT ablation and an in-depth practical and theoretical working knowledge of modern 3D anatomical mapping technologies are essential
• Applicants must have current UK professional registration
• EssentialFull GMC registration Eligible to be included on the Specialist Register CCT expected within 6 months of interview date
• From 6 April 2017, skilled worker applicants, applying for entry clearance into the UK, have had to present a criminal record certificate from each country they have resided continuously or cumulatively for 12 months or more in the past 10 years
• In all aspects of clinical cardiology, with particular expertise in advanced electrophysiology and complex device implantation
• Certificate of Sponsorship
• Able to develop, present and operationalise coherent ideas for service development/delivery

Working details

• Contract: Full-time
• Time of in-lieu is given following weekend working
• Following approval of a £8.5 million business case extend the TCC, to build 2 new cardiac catheter laboratories along with a new office block

Compensation

• Salary: £113,565 to £150,569 a year
