Construction Site Manager

We are a regional principal contractor based in Hertfordshire and undertaking new build and refurbishment works up to the value of £15 million. Our company is family owned and established and we offer stability and reliability to both our clients and our staff.

Due to an upturn in workload we are looking for Site Management candidates who are looking for a company to progress with, be part of a team and grow together. We have a reputation for developing and nurturing our staff and we look for candidates who are able to offer the below:

Minimum of 7 years site management experience, preferably in schools or occupied premises.
Qualified First aid and SMSTS
Health and Safety proficient with a thorough understanding of the new challenges that Covid 19 has poses, along with Risk management distinct to construction.
Experienced in JCT design and Build projects or with the skills set to learn.
Project experience to be able to a manage a project from the ground and through to fine finishes.
Project engineering experience and understanding of complex structural steel frame solutions and groundwork management.
Experienced in managing bona fide subcontractors and direct labour, all associated administration and on-site management.
Able to understand the quality finish demanded by independent school sector and manage the output of the same.
Production of RAMS and delivering of on-site training at tool box level to ensure site safety.
Computer literate and able to produce weekly reports, manage site meetings and project team liaison.
Able to communicate well with people at all levels, from the site labour through to the client team, build working partnerships and problem solve.
Organised and able to investigate procurement and construction programmes to ensure that the project is delivered on time.
Positive, proactive and problem solving.
