Construction Manager (Mechanical Background) - Data Centre Project

Location: Katrineholm, Sweden

Contract: 6 months (potential extension)

Are you a Construction Manager with a mechanical edge and a knack for delivering technically complex projects? We're looking for a hands-on leader to take charge of a high-spec data centre build in Sweden.

This is a boots-on-site position-ideal for someone with experience in fast-paced environments like data centres, pharma, or advanced manufacturing, and familiar with contractors such as Dornan, Mercury, or Jones Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day site activities for mechanical packages (HVAC, piping, chilled water systems)
• Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution
• Drive safety, quality, and programme compliance
• Participate in daily coordination meetings and resolve site issues quickly
• Monitor progress and ensure deadlines and technical standards are met
• Interface with the client, design team, and project management

You'll Need:

• 5+ years' experience in construction management, ideally with a mechanical background
• Proven experience on data centre, pharmaceutical, or industrial projects
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems installation and MEP coordination
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Familiarity with high-standard contractors like Dornan, Mercury, or Jones Engineering
• Willingness to work on-site in Katrineholm and collaborate with international teams
