Job Description
Construction Foreman is required for a Leading Consultancy Company based in Dublin. THE ROLE- Oversee the day-to-day delivery of construction sites across the Leinster region.
- Supervise construction sites and smaller projects, ensuring all works are completed safely, on time and to the required quality standards.
- Lead and coordinate direct labour, subcontractors, suppliers and plant on site.
- Plan daily and weekly site activities to achieve project milestones and client deadlines.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and work schedules to ensure works are carried out correctly.
- Maintain the highest standards of quality assurance and workmanship across all site activities.
- Monitor labour resources, site materials, deliveries and plant to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Complete and maintain site records, including daily reports, HSQE documentation, timesheets and material records.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, consultants and project stakeholders.
- Promote and enforce full compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
- Identify and resolve site issues proactively while supporting the continued growth and reputation of the company.
- 5-7 years experience as a Construction Foreman, Site Supervisor or Site Manager within the construction industry.
- Proven experience managing construction sites, subcontractors and direct labour.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing and programme delivery.
- Up to date health and safety training, including Safe Pass and Manual Handling.
- Additional qualifications are desirable.
- Excellent leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
- Confident using email and digital communication platforms to communicate with clients, suppliers and project teams.
