Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on corporate governance and contentious matters


• Support the business in defending claims and disputes


• Manage claims effectively and liaise with insurers


• Equip senior team members for board reporting on ongoing disputes


• Develop systems to enhance team efficiency


• Deliver general legal and commercial advice as needed


• Conduct training on commercial and contractual topics


• Collaborate across functions to meet strategic goals

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience)

• Legally qualified with 1-6 years of post-qualification experience


• Expertise in construction law disputes


• Strong dispute resolution and negotiation skills


• Experience in contract management and dispute avoidance


• Excellent presentation skills


• A commercial mindset with teamwork capabilities

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience)

• Experience in construction insurance matters


• Knowledge of international construction disputes

Technologies

• Familiarity with legal management software and case management systems


• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
