Hays Education is working closely with a number of secondary schools across Batley that are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Computer Science & ICT Teachers for day-to-day supply, short-term cover, and long-term placements from September onwards.

Following a particularly busy academic year, our partner schools experienced a high demand for supply staff and are expecting another busy year ahead. As a result, we're looking to expand our network of talented teachers who can inspire students and make a positive impact in the classroom.Whether you're looking for a role that offers complete flexibility or are seeking a longer-term position, we have opportunities to suit your needs.

The Role

As a Computer Science & ICT Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
• Teach topics including computer systems, programming, digital literacy, and ICT skills
• Inspire students to develop confidence in technology and problem-solving
• Support students in developing skills for further education and future careers
• Adapt quickly to different school environments while maintaining high teaching standards

What We're Looking For

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• A specialism in Computer Science, ICT, or a related subject
• Recent experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Computer Science and/or ICT within UK secondary schools
• Strong curriculum knowledge and effective classroom management skills
• A flexible, professional, and enthusiastic approach
• A passion for helping young people succeed in an increasingly digital world
