Compute Platform Engineer

We're partnering with a leading global financial technology firm with a state-of-the-art infrastructure hub in Dallas, focused on building and maintaining the backbone that powers high-performance, low-latency systems for quantitative trading.

This is a unique opportunity to join a highly specialized infrastructure engineering team working on cutting-edge compute platforms supporting some of the most demanding workloads in finance.

• Hands-on experience supporting large-scale physical compute infrastructure in a data center environment
• Strong troubleshooting experience with HPE servers (ProLiant, Apollo) and NVIDIA GPUs (A100, H200)
• Solid understanding of server components (UEFI/BIOS, CPUs, DIMMs, PCIe, NICs) and out-of-band management (iLO, BMC)
• Experience managing hardware RMAs, coordinating vendor support (e.g., HPE, NVIDIA), and driving resolutions
• Familiarity with automation pipelines and tooling (Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD) for system provisioning and firmware updates
• Working knowledge of Linux environments and basic networking (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, switching/routing)
• Strong documentation, service logging, and root cause analysis capabilities
