Compliance Officer

10 South Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London (occasional travel between the 2 locations)
- £17.37 per hour
- Monday to Friday
- 37 hours per week (full-time)
- Hybrid working up to 40%
- Basic DBS required (Costs covered by the hiring process)
- On-the-job training will be provided

up to 52 weeks (with extension not confirmed).
What you'll be doing:- Manage Government Procurement Card (GPC) applications and day-to-day administration
- Carry out compliance checks to ensure adherence to policy and MOJ financial governance standards
- Provide guidance and support to cardholders and internal stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records and audit trails (because detail matters)
- Respond to queries via email, Teams and telephone
- Produce reports and carry out data analysis using Excel
- Deliver workshops and training sessions to help stakeholders understand and follow processes
- Support financial governance and transparency reporting needs
- Help update policies, guidance and process documentation as required
- Complete general administrative and compliance duties
- Strong administration and organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Confident communication and strong
- Good Excel skills and the ability to analyse data to produce useful reporting
- A compliance, governance or financial administration background (experience in similar areas is key)
- The ability to work independently, balancing competing priorities
- Confidence guiding others through processes-whether that's explaining, presenting, or delivering training
