Our client is a leading Global Asset Management firm with offices based in the city of London, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
Job Description
The Compliance Officer - Portfolio Compliance - Asset Management will be responsible for:
- Conducting daily shareholder monitoring, data validation, and filing preparation for Shareholding Disclosure reporting obligations
- Ensuring accurate and complete disclosure submissions within prescribed internal and external regulatory deadlines, interpreting and enriching data (in Excel) to validate position movements and provide evidence-based filing submissions
- Interpreting legal and regulatory changes across various locations and jurisdictions
- Focusing on issue management, advisory support, data and regulatory analysis, project support, and stakeholder management
- Working closely with IT, Operations, Portfolio Managers, Advisory, and Investment Compliance
- Working as part of the wider Investment Compliance and Advisory Team
The Successful Applicant
The Compliance Officer - Portfolio Compliance should have the following skills:
- Approximately 3 - 5 years' relevant experience working in the asset management industry in a similar data-driven regulatory reporting role
- Familiarity with the EU Transparency Directive and extensive legal analysis capabilities of the relevant regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word (using VLOOKUPs, sum, and other formulas)
- Stakeholder Management experience
- Strong numerical, analytical, and presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail required (zero breach focus)
- Pro-active approach to issue resolution, with the ability to work independently
What's on Offer
Salary of £55,000 - £70,000
