Job Description

Compliance & Financial Crime Consultant Dublin Leading Advisory Firm

Assistant Manager to Associate Director level Regulatory Advisory, Financial Crime & GRC

I am working with one of Ireland's leading professional services firms, currently expanding their Business Risk Consulting practice in Dublin. Due to sustained growth, they are looking to add driven compliance professionals with a background in Financial Services Regulatory and Financial Crime Compliance.

This is a genuinely varied role, no two weeks look the same, working across Regulatory Advisory, Financial Crime & AML, and Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) engagements for clients spanning banking, asset management, investment management, payments and e-money, gaming, and crypto.

What you will be doing
  • Leading or playing a key role on client engagements, often acting as Subject Matter Expert on second and third line of defence reviews
  • Delivering regulatory-mandated work, including engagement with the Central Bank of Ireland and other competent authorities
  • Interpreting and supporting the implementation of regulatory requirements for client organisations
  • Reviewing client documentation and controls against regulatory expectations
  • Building relationships directly with senior client stakeholders, up to board level
  • Preparing client-facing reports and recommendations
  • Contributing to the team's business development, including scoping new client opportunities
What they are looking for
  • Around 4+ years' experience for Assistant Manager level, or 8+ years' for Associate Director level
  • A background in a risk or compliance function, whether that is with a regulator, in-house at a regulated financial institution, or within a consultancy
  • Strong knowledge of the Irish and international regulatory landscape, including financial crime risk
  • Experience working within (ideally leading) high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable operating up to board level
  • A relevant third-level qualification; CAMS, ACOI Professional Diploma in Compliance, or equivalent is an advantage
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple client deliverables
Why this one is worth a conversation

This sits within a genuinely fast-growing, well-regarded practice, with real scope for progression, international secondment opportunities, and exposure to a broad client base rather than a single institution. It suits someone who wants variety, autonomy, and a clear route toward the next step in their career.
