Compliance Administrator

Location: Pride Park, Derby (Hybrid - 2 days office / 3 days remote)
Hours: 30-37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Happy to consider school run working hours 9-3 or similar. (Office days: Monday & Thursday, with flexibility)
Contract: 6 Month Temporary Assignment
Salary:£13.38 - £17.94 DOE. (£30,000 - £35,000 pro rata paid as an hourly rate)

Morson Edge is proud to be recruiting on behalf of Rolls-Royce SMR for a Time Booking & Compliance Coordinator to join their Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team on an initial 6 month temporary contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator or coordinator with strong Excel skills who enjoys working with data, improving processes and engaging with stakeholders. You'll play a key role in ensuring time booking compliance across the business while supporting reporting, investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Role

Working within the FP&A team, you'll be responsible for coordinating the organization's time booking compliance process, managing a shared mailbox, investigating queries and ensuring high standards of data accuracy. You'll also support reporting activities and help identify opportunities to automate and streamline existing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and triage a medium-volume shared team mailbox.
  • Investigate and resolve time booking queries and data discrepancies.
  • Maintain and update system records accurately.
  • Monitor compliance dashboards and validate reporting outputs.
  • Produce and distribute regular compliance reports.
  • Coordinate the time booking compliance escalation process, liaising with managers and HR where required.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies.
  • Carry out data analysis using Excel to identify trends and exceptions.
  • Develop smarter ways of working through automation, mail merge, process standardisation and simplification.
About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys combining administration with data analysis and process improvement. You'll be highly organized, proactive and comfortable working independently while engaging confidently with stakeholders across the business.

Essential Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in an administrative, coordination or operational support role.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUPs and data manipulation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Experience working with large data sets and identifying anomalies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage your own workload and take ownership of key processes.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Workday or similar.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate or other workflow automation tools.
  • Experience improving or automating manual processes.

What's on Offer
