Salary: £28,064 (Pro Rata for part time roles). Working pattern is flexible with frequent weekends and some evenings. You may be asked to work weekend days, for which you will receive a higher rate of 50%.

The role involves supervising a group of people at an unpaid work placement, driving service vehicles to transport people or equipment, and ensuring that all tasks are completed safely and effectively. You may also be required to demonstrate good practice to service users and support them to achieve their targets.

Right to work in the UK is a mandatory requirement. The post is not eligible for a new Skilled Worker visa from 22 July 2025. If you have held a Skilled Worker visa prior to 22 July 2025, confirm eligibility during pre employment checks.

About the role

Community Payback Supervisors work with a diverse mix of individuals. You will support offenders on their journey to make a positive contribution to the community. Tasks may include clearing overgrowth, restoring community facilities, planting trees, litter picking, and graffiti removal. You will lead small teams, supervise and motivate them to complete their unpaid work hours.

Working Arrangements & Further Information

Hybrid working arrangements are available where business needs allow. This role can only be worked in the UK. All applications for part time, flexible, and job sharing patterns will be considered in accordance with the Flexible Working policy.

Recruitment Process

Applicants will need to complete an online application, answering behavioural and experience based questions. Successful candidates will progress through interview and assessment stages. Interview dates will be communicated after the application deadline. Strengths and security checks are also part of the process.

Interview Stage Assessments

Interview dates are expected early September 2026. Behavioural themes include Communicating and Influencing, Working Together, and Leadership.
