Job Description
Overview

Community Payback Supervisors supervise groups of offenders completing unpaid community work placements, ensuring tasks are carried out safely and effectively.

Working Pattern

Full time or part time. Up to 7 hours of supervision per day. Duties may include weekend and evening work with higher rate for weekends.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise a group during community payback placement, up to 7 hours per day.
  • Ensure all tasks are carried out to the best of the group's ability and provide guidance and support.
  • Drive service vehicles to transport offenders and equipment when required.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, work hours and incidents.
  • Act as a role model, encouraging motivation and compliance with probation conditions.
  • Collaborate with probation officers and other stakeholders to support offender reintegration.
Qualifications
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence (automatic licence is not acceptable).
  • Experience supervising workplace or community groups.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Right to work in the UK.

  • Commonwealth citizens with right to work in the UK.
  • EU, Swiss, Norwegian, Icelandic or Liechtenstein nationals with settled or pre settled status or family members.
  • Other groups approved by civil service rules.
