Job Description
Position Overview

Base Location: South Dublin & North Kildare. This is an on the road type of position, travelling to the wider Leinster area. The role requires 39 hours per week, Monday to Sunday - 3 long shifts per week, over a 12 month fixed term contract, with a strong possibility of becoming permanent based on performance and business needs.

With a genuine passion for improving patient care, you will be an enthusiastic and experienced registered nurse. You will work as part of the triage team, assessing referrals in a timely manner and sign posting to other teams and services to deliver care needs. Your energy and drive will be rewarded with the support of a dedicated team that creates a warm and progressive environment for outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Proficient cannulation and phlebotomy - essential.
  • Administration/education of sub cutaneous therapies.
  • IV administration therapies in home settings.
  • Maintain full compliance with company policy and procedures.
  • Completion of electronic nursing records, ensuring relevant information is recorded in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Report details of adverse events, product complaints and/or clinical incidents as per company policy.
  • Basic IT/computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to develop relationships with new contacts.
  • Displays flexibility and adaptability to change.
  • Works effectively both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating sound judgement and good time management skills.
  • Willingness to travel domestically.
  • Experience within the pharmaceutical industry or a similar discipline is desirable, but not essential.
Qualifications
  • An Bord Altranais nursing registration.
  • Minimum of 5 years post registration experience in an acute hospital or community setting.
  • Proficient in cannulation & phlebotomy.
  • Must have a keen interest in community nursing.
  • Full clean driver's licence.
  • Willingness to travel domestically.
  • Basic IT/computer skills.
