Community Engagement Manager

Join Digital Catapult as our new Community Engagement Manager and play a leading role in building, nurturing, and growing the UK's most ambitious digital supply chain innovation community. You'll drive engagement and collaboration across industry, technology, and academia - helping to accelerate the practical application of deep tech solutions nationwide and deliver real-world impact for UK manufacturing and supply chains.
This is a contract role due to end on 31/03/2026.
WHAT YOU'LL DO (Duties)- Develop and implement strategies to grow and strengthen innovation communities, including the flagship Digital Supply Chains Hub (DSCH), working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Manage and moderate both online and in-person communities, ensuring they are valuable, inclusive spaces for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Organise and deliver community events such as workshops, hackathons, webinars, and regional pilots to drive engagement and foster partnerships.
- Lead the continuous improvement of onboarding processes and member journeys, designing structured feedback loops to capture insights and inform programme enhancements.
- Promote networking, matchmaking, and collaboration opportunities, connecting members to relevant partners, projects, and opportunities.
- Use analytics and data tools to monitor engagement, track KPIs, and generate actionable insights to inform strategy and demonstrate impact.
- Demonstrate proven experience in community management, stakeholder engagement, or innovation programme delivery, ideally within technology, innovation, or digital ecosystems.
- Possess strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage startups, corporates, academia, and funders to support ecosystem growth.
- Design and deliver strategies to engage community members and enhance their experience, both digitally and in-person.
- Organise and facilitate events, workshops, and collaborative initiatives that drive participation and value.
- Be comfortable using data and analytics to inform decision-making and demonstrate impact.
- Show passion for technology innovation, with a collaborative approach and a commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
