We are looking for a Community & Audience Development Consultant to support the library tour of Hoppily Ever After, our brand-new family musical.

The production will tour to library services across Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire and Warwickshire during the first two weeks of January 2027.

The role will involve working closely with our library partners to help them reach local families and communities and maximise audiences for the performances.

Each library service has a £300 engagement budget, which can be used flexibly for activity such as targeted marketing, workshops, community outreach, promotional activity or other ideas that will help bring audiences to the show.

We are looking for someone with:

• Experience in community engagement and/or audience development.
• A proven track record of working with community groups and organisations.
• An understanding of theatre, live performance and the arts sector.
• Strong local knowledge and connections in Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire and/or Warwickshire.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A creative, practical and proactive approach.
• Experience working with libraries, schools, family organisations, community groups or local cultural organisations would be particularly welcome.

The majority of the work will take place during November and December 2026, ahead of the January tour.

Fee & Expenses

£1,000 freelance fee - 5 days at £200 per day.
Up to £100 additional travel expenses are available, subject to prior agreement.
