Communications Account Manager - £31.71 per hour (Umbrella) - North London / Hybrid

A North London Local Authority is seeking an Interim Communications Account Manager with a strong press office background.

• Lead communications within a defined portfolio, working closely with senior officers and elected members.
• Deliver integrated campaigns that support corporate objectives.
• Draft and edit press releases, manage media relations and crisis communications.
• Deputise for the Media & Campaigns Manager when required.

• Proven experience in journalism, PR or communications.
• Strong media handling, editorial and campaign delivery skills.
• Knowledge of local government communications and working in a political environment.
• Digital and social media expertise.
