Comms Lead - 12 Months Contract - Oxford
Hybrid 4 days on site 1 days remote
Parking available on site
OUTSIDE IR35
Essential:- Demonstrate a minimum of 5+ years' experience in communication roles, including design and implementation of structured comms, build of SharePoint Intranet, video and Intranet sites, Global experience. Able to work effectively with internal stakeholders at all levels, including working in a Matrix organization. Exceptional verbal, writing, design and editing skills. Able to develop comms strategies and plans, while managing multiple projects and workstreams. Delivering effective comms within agile environments, utilizing Microsoft Office suite. Proven experience delivering medium to large and complex projects.
A skilled Comms Lead is required to support the delivery of a Foundations Programme. This programme is to harmonise and standardise systems and processes across several work streams

Comms Lead Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the internal communication strategy and plan, aligned with the programme delivery approach and goals, including a comms calendar
- Work collaboratively with the Programme Manager, Change Lead, Foundations Team and the wider business to define the internal comms strategy and plan to support the successful delivery of our transformation programme
- Produce high quality internal comms content in a range of media including written (particularly for email and Intranet), Viva Engage, newsletters, video, audio and visual formats
- Develop the transformation comms messaging structure, use it consistently across all comms and deliver clear and engaging communications in a timely manner
- Define and maintain the stakeholder engagement plan
- Partner with project and business stakeholders to develop strong relationships, deliver the comms and evaluate the impact and risks of planned comms
- Utilise existing internal comms channels and templates. Where appropriate set up new channels to deliver the programme comms plan
- Ensure comms are aligned to my clients brands and our wider business strategy, and internal comms plan
- Work within and help maintain the comms network to share best practice and maximise communication coverage to all levels of our business

- Business readiness: Level of readiness prior to system go live
- Adoption: Adoption rates post go-live
- Adherence to project plan: comparing the completion status to the schedule
