Commissioning Manager (EU Rotation)

Overview

M&E Commissioning Manager M&E Commissioning Manager required for a Tier 1 General contractor for a Data Centre project in Groningen, The Netherlands. The successful candidate would be reporting into the Project Manager and will be provided excellent support and career progression opportunities.

Duties

• Ensure compliance with project specs, commissioning plans, and procedures
• Test installations against design and execute interface commissioning
• Maintain documentation, compile test scripts, and record design/as-built changes from tests
• Identify specialized test equipment and tools
• Review/develop subcontractor procedures per contract requirements
• Witness subcontractor/specialist commissioning and equipment tests
• Assist with test plan preparation and review
• Lead/support other commissioning engineers as directed by management
• Manage construction programs impacting commissioning progress
• Report weekly to senior management on progress, issues, and constraints

Requirements

• Degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or relevant trade background required.
• 3 Years+ experience as an Electrical/Mechanical Commissioning Manager.
• Must have worked with an M&E Contractor in Ireland or the UK.
• Must have good commercial awareness and be a client facing individual.
• Experience working on Data Centre projects would be advantageous.
