About the Role

We are seeking a Commissioning Agent ( Cx A ) to work on Data Centers around Europe, You would need to be Netherlands Based and have an Netherlands address and Netherlands Bank Account. EU Passport is required.

In this role, you will be responsible for commissioning critical infrastructure systems such as power generation and distribution systems, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), static transfer switches, PDUs, BMS/BAS systems, and HVAC systems. This is a field-based position requiring up to 75% travel to various client locations, both domestically and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct design reviews for electrical and mechanical systems.
• Develop and oversee startup and commissioning procedures.
• Perform QA/QC inspections for system installations.
• Execute and document functional performance tests.
• Review and analyze test data; prepare comprehensive technical reports.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, vendors, and project teams.
• Train plant operations and maintenance personnel.
• Support project delivery, ensuring technical excellence, schedule, and budget compliance.
• Maintain high-quality communication across all project stakeholders.
• Other duties as required.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Electrical or Mechanical Experience
• Associate degree, military training, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with commissioning of generators, UPS systems, HVAC, and power conditioning equipment.
• Strong diagnostic skills for both construction and operational issues.
• Proficiency in using technical tools: AC/DC amp probes, voltmeters, phase rotation meters, battery testers, and micro-ohm meters.
• Experience with commissioning standards: BCA, PECI, and/or ASHRAE.
• Solid knowledge of building codes and industry standards.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Capable of working under pressure and managing multiple priorities.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid EU passport.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed).

Preferred Experience

• Data centers, hospitals, biotech facilities, or energy analysis.
• Performance contracting and advanced commissioning protocols.

Travel Requirements

• Approximately 75% travel, including both national and international assignments.
• Position is remote-based but may require travel to client sites for training, inspections, or meetings.
