Commissioning Engineer - Special Purpose Machinery - North Yorkshire + European Travel - Permanent - £55-60k + overtime + uplift for working away + subsistence + travel time paid + 25 days holiday

Samuel Frank is recruiting for an OEM based in North Yorkshire as they're looking for a Commissioning Engineer to join the team. The role involves a mixture of working on the shop floor in North Yorkshire, some work from home and periods of time commissioning on site in Europe during 2024 and the United States in 2026.

When working abroad you'll be paid x1.5 your basic salary, x1.5 for any overtime worked, your working week will include all travel time to site, a daily subsistence, an overnight allowance and you'll be paid for 8 hours on Sundays, even if you didn't work the Sunday whilst you were away.

• Have a strong background in commissioning PLC software using either Siemens or Rockwell systems.
• Provide a high level of skill in interpreting the customers' regulatory requirements
• Communicate accurate project status to the Software Manager, internal and external customers and suppliers
• Networking of common automation hardware including EtherNET/IP, ProfiNET, Profibus, Modbus
• You must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship
• Machine safety knowledge e.g. BS EN ISO 13849
• Working week - 39 hours

The client's premises are commutable from the following locations Leeds, Selby, Wetherby, Harrogate, Ripon, York, Pontefract, Doncaster, Hull / East Yorkshire and Wakefield.
