Job Description

The London Borough of Merton is committed to delivering high-quality services that reflect the needs and ambitions of its residents. In line with our borough-wide strategy Building a Better Merton Together and our Live Well in Merton Adult Social Care Strategy, we are transforming Adult Social Care through the Live Well in Merton programme - a bold, resident-focused initiative aimed at improving outcomes, promoting independence, and embedding sustainable change.

As the Commissioning & Programme Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving this transformation. You will lead a small, agile team and work closely with senior leaders, frontline services, and corporate functions to identify challenges, co-design solutions, and implement improvements that make a real difference to residents' lives.

This is a high-impact leadership role requiring strategic insight, operational agility, and a collaborative mindset. You will be responsible for shaping the programme, managing delivery against key milestones, and ensuring governance and accountability at every stage.

This is an 18 month fixed-term contract.
